The 26 Regiment Wing of SLAF Base Katunayake (Men’s) and  SLAF TTS  Ekala (Women’s) won the Inter Unit Wrestling Championship which was concluded last evening (14th December, 2012) at the SLAF Base Katunayake Sports Complex.

LAC Abeysekara WGSNB and LAC Wimalasena MH were nominated as the "Best Wrestler “in the men’s and women’s categories respectively. 

The President of the Sri Lanka Wrestling Federation ASP PGS Gunathilaka graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Base Commander SLAF Base Katunayake Air Commodore DLAS Dias, senior officers and other ranks were also present at the event.
