Champion cyclist of the Sri Lanka Air Force Jeewan Jayasinghe won the first ever night cycle race held at the Colombo Night Races on 15th December 2012.
 
40 leading cyclists of  Sri Lanka  took part in this event and cyclist from Police and SL Navy won the 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
