The Chief of Army Staff of the Indian Army calls on The Commander of The Air Force

The Chief of Army Staff of the Indian Army, General Bikram Singh, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, ADC, paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama, at the Air Force Headquarters this morning (20 December).

Upon arrival at the Air Force Headquarters, the Indian Army Chief was accorded a Guard of Honour. Thereafter, he was received by the Commander of the Air Force.

The two Commanders then held a brief discussion on matters of mutual interest. Thereafter, the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Air Vice Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke, and rest of the members of the Air Force Board of Management were introduced to the visiting Indian Army Chief.

At the end of the visit, the two Commanders exchanged mementoes to mark occasion and the Indian Army Chief entered his thoughts in the Visitors Book prior to his departure from Air Force Headquarters.
