Under the patronage of the Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Neelika Abeywickrama a community project was conducted at  Kurunegala on 23rd January 2013 with a view to assist children of “Lurdu Girls Home” Malkaduwawa, Kurunegala.
 
The Chairperson of the Seva Vanitha Unit along with the Members & Officials visited the home and the inmates at the orphanage were presented with gift packs and this was followed by a lunch.
