Under the patronage of the Chairperson of the SLAF SVU Mrs. Neelika Abeywickrema the ‘Viru Daru Diri Thilina’ (Distribution of School Uniforms to the Children of SLAF Civilian Employees) programme was held at the Air Force Headquarters’ Auditorium on 31st January 2013. A cross section of the civilian employees of the SLAF received the School Uniforms for their children at this event. Command Research and Development Officer Air Commodore TGJ Amarasena and his staff coordinated the programme.

Members of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Senior Officers, Officers and Civilian employees of the SLAF also participated at the event.
