Assistant Economic Development Officers Pass out from SLAF Diyatalawa
The graduates who were appointed as Assistant Economic Development Officers of Government establishments under the purview of the Ministry of Economic Development underwent a residential Skill Development Training Programme at SLAF Diyatalawa for two weeks from 26th March 2013 to 09th April 2013.
The training focused to improve the character and positive attitudes of the graduates, who as government officers need to give their best when serving the motherland. Practical and theoretical aspects of Leadership, Conflict Management, Social Values, Customs and Etiquettes were part of the training.
The course participants demonstrated their talents through a variety entertainment programme called “Neth Abhiru” at the end of the training. Mr. Sujeewa Kumara, Assistant Director (Planning) District Secretariat, Badulla and Mrs Inoka Wijewardena Assistant Director (Planning), from the Ministry of Economic Development were present during this programme.
The training programme was coordinated by Squadron Leader JAAP Jayakody with the Acting Commanding Officer Wing Commander SPVK Senadheera supervising same.
