Annual AOC’s Inspection at SLAF Station Ampara
The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal HD Abeywickrama conducted the Annual AOC’s inspection of SLAF Station Ampara on 10 May 2013. The Commander, upon the arrival for the inspection, was received by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Ampara, Gp Capt KDN Kodithuwakku and was afforded a street lining which was commanded by Flt Lt RCN Ranneththi.
During the tour of inspection the Commander declared open the new Para Training School and also awarded commendation to 07301 F/Sgt Kulathunga KML who had contributed immensely to uplift the standard of the Station. During the customary address to the Officers, Airmen and the Civilian staff of the Station the Commander praised all personnel on a commendable job done and encouraged them to set and reach even higher goals to uplift the standard of the Station and the Sri Lanka Air Force.
