Annual AOC’s Inspection at SLAF Unit Batticaloa
The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal HD Abeywickrama conducted the Annual AOC’s inspection of SLAF Unit Batticaloa on 10 May 2013. The Commander, upon the arrival for the inspection, was received by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Unit Batticaloa Wg Cdr WMAB Wewegama and was afforded a street lining which was commanded by Flt LT RASS Perera.
During the tour of inspection the Commander declared open the new Welfare Complex and the Internet Café. A new Billiards Room was also opened prior to awarding of commendation to 33389 LAC Jayasinghe HTKA and 022829 LAC Abeysinghe KASC for their contributions to uplift the standard of the Unit. Addressing the Officers, Airmen and the Civilian staff of the Unit the Commander praised all personnel on a commendable job done and encouraged them to set and reach even higher goals to uplift the standard of the Station and the Sri Lanka Air Force.
