Air Force Paddlers to Play in the Asian Championship

The Sri Lanka National Table Tennis team which comprising of three Air Force shiny paddlers who had participated in the Commonwealth Table Tennis Championship 2013 in India and World Table Tennis Championship 2013 in Paris will depart on today (28th June 2013) to take part in the 21st Asian Table Tennis Championship which is scheduled to be held from 30th June to 7th July 2013 in Busan, South Korea.

The men’s team will be led by the Air Force player Rohan Sirisena. Airman Milinda Lakshitha also included in the team which comprising of four players. The women’s team will be led by six times National Champion Ishara Madurangi of Sri Lanka Air Force and the rest of the team will comprise of two players.

The SLAF is much expected from the experienced Ishara Madurangi who is reputed for her power play and skills to turn around the game. Airman Rohan Sirisena too is in fine nick. These players after their fine showing at the Commonwealth Table Tennis Championship should go with their morals high to put up an even better performance.
