Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn along with a Thai delegation took off for Sigiriya from Colombo in a  Bell 412 and  an Mi-17 helicopter this afternoon (19th August 2013).

The Thai Princess who is on a 4 day official visit to the island  is scheduled to visit several historical sites around the island.
