New House for captain of the SLAF Women's Volleyball team

Under the patronage of the Directorate of Welfare of the Sri Lanka Air Force, a newly constructed house, located at Wijeyakadupotha, Chillaw was handed over to the captain of the SLAF Women's Volleyball team and former captain of the National Volleyball team Leading Aircraftwoman Prasadini JHP on 24th September 2013 by the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Neelika Abeywickrama in appreciate of her sports achievements.

The Command Welfare and Rehabilitation Fund which functions under the Directorate of Welfare allocated 700.000 rupees to complete the construction of the house which was carried out by the Work Service Squadron of the SLAF Station Palavi.

Chairman SLAF Volleyball Air Vice Marshal RJ Pathirage, Director Welfare Air Vise Marshal MLK Perera and Acting Commanding Officer SLAF Station Palavi Squadron Leader MC Peiris were also present at the ceremony.
