SLAF Produced another Batch of EOD Qualified Personnel

The Badge Awarding Parade of No. 26 Officers No. 41 Airmen and No.17 Navy Basic EOD Course was held at SLAF Station Palavi on 09th January 2014. A total of thirty seven personnel which comprised three SLAF Officers, two Naval Officers, twenty eight Airmen and four Sailors from the Sri Lanka Navy took part in this course which was conducted for a period of over five months.

Flight Lieutenant RCN Ranneththi and Leading Aircraftman Aravinda THS were adjudged as the Best EOD Officer and Best EOD Airman of the Courses respectively.

The Commanding Officer SLAF Station Palavi Group Captain Indika Weerarathna graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Officers and other ranks of the SLAF Station Palavi were also present to witness the event.
