Leadership Qualities and Positive Thinking Course 2014 at Combat Training School SLAF Diyatalawa
The Closing Ceremony of the Leadership Qualities and Positive Thinking through Theoretical and Practical Training that commenced on 27th December 2013, was held under the Guidance of the Commanding Officer Group Captain Peterson Fernando on 11th January 2014. Six hundred and twenty three (623) University Entrants participated in this programme.
During the training programme the Minister of Higher Education Hon. SB Disanayake and other ministry officials visited the SLAF station Diyatalawa and addressed the University Entrants.
The drill display performed by the students was the highlighted of the ceremony. They were trained by Squadron Drill Instructors in four days. A variety of entertainment shows were also arranged under the guidance of the Officer Commanding Training, Wing Commander Nilantha Piyasena in order to showcase the hidden talents of the course participants.

Squadron Leader Ajith Jayakody lead the ‘prospective leaders’ course as the Officer in Charge to broaden the horizons of the students to meet future challenges as leaders.
