The President of Maldives Accorded a Guard of Honour by SLAF
The President of the Republic of Maldives Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayum began his three-day official visit to Sri Lanka with a guard of honour presented by the Sri Lanka Air Force this morning (22th January 2014) at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo.
On arrival, at the Presidential Secretariate, the President of Maldives and the First Lady Madam Fathimath Ibrahim were received by HE the President Mahinda Rajapaksha and the First Lady Madam Shiranthi Rajapaksa. The Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama was also present on the occasion.
The Guard of Honour was conferred by the Colour Squadron of the SLAF commanded by Squadron Leader KMPS Kulathunga.
