Airmen Edge BRC By 07 Runs in the Premier League Cricket Tournament

Sri Lanka Air Force cricket club beat Burgher RC yesterday (14 December 2009) at the Dharmapala College grounds, Pannipitiya by 07 runs at a Premier League three day match. The airmen batting first scored 141 in their first innings (Airmen Fernando 33) and 270 in the second innings (Airmen Wickramasinghe 78, Airmen Dias 58) respectively.

Batting in the first innings BRC managed to score 168 and 236 in their second innings. Airmen Rishan bowling for Air Force succeeded in claiming seven wickets in both innings which made the difference for the Airmen.
