The Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Roshani Gunathileke, the Director Welfare Air Vice Marshal MLK Perera and the staff of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit visited Ward no. 3 of Mulleriyawa Hospital this afternoon (12th March 2014) and spent some time interacting with the inmates.

While the SLAF Calypso band provided entertainment, a wholesome lunch was provided the inmates after which they were presented with gift packs.
 
This female Ward has been maintained by the SLAF since 1985 with the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit complementing the maintenance effort by launching various charitable and entertainment activities periodically for the welfare of the inmates of the Ward.
