The SLAF Station Batticaloa celebrates its 31st Formation Day

Sri Lanka Air Force Station Batticaloa celebrated its 31st Formation Day on March 27, 2014. The Formation Day working parade was reviewed by the Commanding Officer of the SLAF Station Batticaloa, Wing Commander GSN Priyadarshana which was followed by religious activities, a Volleyball Tournament among the serving personnel of the station and all ranks lunch.
 
Concurrent to the Anniversary celebration, serving personnel of the SLAF Station Batticaloa and members of the Station Seva Vanitha Unit conducted community projects at Leprosy Hospital at Manathivu Island and the Maternity Ward of the Teaching Hospital Batticaloa.






Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
