Omani Military Delegation visits Air Force Headquarters

A delegation from the Command and Staff College of the Sultanate of Oman visited the Air Force Headquarters this evening (31st March 2014).

The delegation comprised of 38 Officers from the Omani Army, Navy and the Air Force and four Army officers from Bahrain, Saudi, Yemen and Lebanon.  The delegation was headed by Colonel Sulaiman Sabil Ali Balsuhi . On their arrival to AFHQ, they were received by Group Captain PLJ Kodippily. Subsequently, the delegation had the opportunity to meet the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Air Vice Marshal GP Bulathsinghala.

A presentation on Sri Lanka Air Force Operations was conducted by Wing Commander Prasanna Kuruwita.  Members of the AFBM also participated and were present for the Q & A session that followed.

On conclusion, Colonel Sulaiman Sabil Ali Balsuhi presented a symbolic memento to the Chief of Staff. The Chief of Staff reciprocated by presenting a memento to Brigadier General MD Latiful Haider to mark the event.
