Sri Lanka Air Force Fire Fighters carried out a Fire Evacuation drill at Development Holdings Private Limited Colombo this evening (08th April 2014).During the demonstration the SLAF firemen demonstrated several rescue tactics such as Aerial rope rescue and also  operating and using of ‘Jumping Sheet’ which was placed on the ground.

36 SLAF personnel participated in the Fire Evacuation Drill and Squadron Leader Amal Dasanayeka guided the SLAF fire fighters to perform the evacuation drill smoothly.
