Closing Address of the Three Month English Language Training Course for Officer Cadets
The cadets of the No.56th Intake of Officer Cadets and the No.8th Intake of Lady Officer Cadets underwent a full time English Language course from 2nd January to 11th April 2014. This three month course was designed to prepare them to acquire their academic goals to enable them to give a better service to the nation.
The Officer Cadets had an opportunity to stage their performances after completion of Course on 11th April 2014. The Commanding Officer of the Combat Training School Diyatalawa Group Captain WWPD Fernando graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The School Auditorium of the Combat Training School Diyatalawa was the venue for “Augur Well,” which was organized by the Officer Commanding Training of the School, Wing Commander GPNC Piysena under the guidance of the Commanding Officer in order to showcase their new found competence in the language and the confidence that the course armed them with.
