Admiral Katsutoshi Kawano Visits SLAF Headquarters
Chief of Staff of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defence Force, Admiral Katsutoshi Kawano paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke yesterday (14th June 2014) at the Air Force Headquarters,Colombo. Admiral Katsutoshi Kawano’s meeting with the Commander comes as part of his four-day official visit to Sri Lanka.
The Guard of Honour was conferred by the Colour Squadron of Sri Lanka Air Force and he was warmly welcomed to Air Force Headquarters by the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Colombo Air Commodore DJC Weerakoon .
The Commander held a discussion on matters of mutual interest with the Admiral Katsutoshi Kawano’s. At the end of the visit, the Commander and the visiting Chief of Staff exchanged mementoes to mark the occasion
