Chief of the Defence Force of The Republic of Maldives Calls on the Commander
Major General Ahmed Shiyam, Chief of the Defence Force of the Republic of Maldives called on the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke, this morning (19th Aug 2014) at Air Force Headquarters Colombo.
Chief of the Defence Force of the Republic of Maldives was afforded a Guard of Honour, which was conferred by the Colour Squadron of the SLAF. The Guard of Honour was commanded by Flight Lieutenant OWKP Owitipana.
Two chiefs had discussions on matters of bilateral relevance and mutual interests and mementos were exchanged between the Visiting Major General Ahmed Shiyam and the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force to mark this occasion. Visiting chief also had an interaction with the Chief of Staff and the Board of Management of the SLAF.
