A Delegation of Nigerian Armed Forces Visits AFHQ
A 11-member delegation of the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre comprising senior Officers of Tri-Services of Nigeria and few Officials from Civil Service, who are currently on their Overseas Study Tour to Sri Lanka, paid a visit to the Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters on 01st September 2014. The delegation was headed by Air Vice Marshal MR Morgan, the Commandant of the NAFRC.
On their arrival to AFHQ, they were received by Air Vice Marshal Lal Perera, the Director Welfare of the SLAF. Subsequently, a presentation was conducted by Air Commodore PDA Maristela, the Senior Staff Officer of Directorate of welfare on'Welfare for SLAF Personnel’.
On conclusion, Air Vice Marshal MR Morgan presented a symbolic memento to the Director welfare Air Vice Marshal Lal Perera. The Director welfare reciprocated by presenting a memento to Air Vice Marshal MR Morgan to mark the event. Several Officers from the Directorate of welfare and other Directorates were also present at the occasion.
