Flying Instructors Conference at No.1 Flying Training Wing

The inaugural ‘Flying Instructors’ Conference’ of the Sri Lanka Air Force, which included flying instructors of fixed wing and helicopter streams was held at No.1 Flying Training Wing, Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay.

The conference was held recently under the chairmanship of Director Air Operations Air Vice Marshal Kapila Jayampathy. The aim of the conference was to bring all flying instructors to a common platform and discuss points in enhancing flying training in the Sri Lanka Air Force.

Apart from lectures carried out by flying instructors of the Air Force, a guest lecture was conducted by Captain Nimal Rambukwella on “Teaching and Learning” to share knowledge of civil flying training concepts with Sri Lanka Air Force and a medical lecture was carried out by Wing Commander Sujith Perera.

The highly constructive conference was concluded with a social evening which was held at Sri Lanka Air Force Marble Beach.
