5th Formation Day at SLAF Hospital Ratmalana
The Fifth formation day of the SLAF hospital, Ratmalana was celebrated on 11 Nov 2014. To commemorate this event, a sramadana and a medical clinic were held at the Yasodaradevi girls home on 10 Nov 2014.
On 11 Nov 2014, the formation day parade was organized at the hospital premises SLAF Base Ratmalana, and the parade inspection was carried out by the CO hospital, Wg Cdr PAV Padmaperuma.
A friendly cricket match was also organized by the hospital staff during the morning and in the evening a get – together was arranged by the hospital entertainment committee at the sports ground SLAF Base Ratmalana.
The Base Commander, Air Cdre PDKT Jayasinghe graced the occasion as the chief guest and the Director Health Services of Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Cdre DMS Karunarathne honored the event as a special guest.
All the Commanding officers and warrant officer I/C sections of SLAF Base Rattmalana attended this evening get- together and made this occasion a colorful one.
