SLAF Station Katukurunda celebrates 30th Anniversary
The 30th Anniversary of SLAF Station Katukurunda fell on 16 Nov 14. The Station celebrated the event with a number of social service and entertainment events.
Commencing the programme, the station Seva Vanitha Unit conducted a Shramadana Campaign and donation of goods for the Mental Hospital Mulleriyawa under the guidance of the chairperson SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit on 29 October 2014.
Thereafter the Station conducted two Shramadana Campaigns at Ethagama Amarasekara Vidyalaya and Thapowana Temple Ethagama respectively on 12, 14 Nov 14.
Activities on the 16th began the Working parade and a series of sports activities with entertainment which was participated in by all. The celebrations concluded with an all ranks lunch.
