Eye Clinic for Pre School Children
An eye clinic for the Pre School children at SLAF Guwanpura was held on 19 November 2014 at the Pre School premises SLAF Guwanpura.
This was organized as per a concept of the Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Roshani Gunatilleke with the collaboration of Vision Care Optical (Pvt) Ltd Colombo.
Approximately 46 Children participated in this eye clinic. Mr. Viranga Pemsiri, Optometrist of Vision Care (Pvt) Ltd. headed the team while Audiologists of the institute conducted an awareness program for parents and teachers related to the vision and hearing of children followed by a screening for the children.
Mrs. Roshani Gunatilleke chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and Air Cdre MADP Payoe Commanding Officer SLAF Station Colombo were present at the inauguration ceremony of the clinic.
