The funeral of Former commander of the SLAF, Air Chief Marshal D C Perera VSV, ndc, psc was held yesterday evening, 24 November 2014 at the General Cemetery, Kanatte.

The mortal remains of Air Chief Marshal D C Perera was cremated with full Air Force honours at the General Cemetery, Kanatte.

Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke, Chief of Staff Air Vice Marshal Gagan Bulathsinhala, members of the AF board of management, Officers ,Other ranks were present at the occasion to offer the last respects to the former commander of the Air Force.
