Senior Officers’ Refresher Course Successfully Conducted at SLAF Diyatalawa
The Closing Address of the Senior Officers Refresher Course 01/2015 was held under the patronage of the Commanding Officer of the SLAF CTS Diyatalawa. The five (05) day course was successfully conducted from 19 to 23 Jan 2015 at SLAF CTS Diyatalawa under the guidance of the Commanding Officer.
The course programme was convened for eight (08) senior officers as per the directives given by the Directorate of Training. The course was designed to renew the proficiency on Drill Theory, General Service Knowledge, Mechanics of Ground Defense, Executive Fitness, Internal Security Operations, Air Intelligence, Land Navigation and Range Firing. The officers were also put through the paces of a map march.
All lectures/Class room sessions were followed by practical exercises to enhance the knowledge and experience further.
Officer Commanding Training, Chief Instructor, officer instructors and other rank instructors shouldered the responsibility of educating the participants throughout the course with the guidance of the Commanding Officer SLAF CTS Diyatalawa.
