Operational Performance Development Course For Regiment Officers

The Operational Performance Development Module for twelve (12) Administrative Regiment Officers was conducted at the Sri Lanka Air Force Combat Training School Diyatalawa from 09 February 15 to 13 February 2015.  The Course is designed to enhance the analytical and operational briefing capabilities to perform operational staff duties effectively.

The course was carried out in form of Exercise “Green Rock Apes” (Designed with a given narrative); the participants were also involved in TEWT (Tactical Exercise Without Troops) and trained on Operational Planning, Troop Leading Procedure, Military Map Marking, Leadership, Analytical Thinking Combined with a series of Model Briefings.

The course was conducted under the guidance of Commanding Officer of the School while Officer Commanding Training and Chief Instructor Officer Training, too contributed as resource personnel of the course  .

All participants had the opportunity of taking part in a Dining- In -Night together with the  Commanding Officer and the Course Officers.
