No. 01 Air Defence Radar Squadron Celebrates 9th Formation Day
No. 01 Air Defence Radar Squadron, SLAF Base Katunayake celebrated its 9th Formation day on 10 March 15.
The Formation day working parade was held on 10 March 14 at the squadron premises which was followed by an all ranks breakfast.
In view of commemorating the occasion, the evening of the 09th March 15 was spent at Sri Lakshmi Children’s home at Walana, Katunayake. A Dental clinic was conducted by the Dental Unit, SLAF Base Kat in order to improve the oral hygiene of the residing children who were then offered dinner, gifts and entertainment. The event was organized under the patronage of Commanding Officer Wing Commander KC Serasinghe with the participation of all officers and other ranks.
