No 06 Helicopter Squadron Celebrates its 22nd Anniversary.
No 06 helicopter
squadron, SLAF Base Anuradhapura celebrated its 22nd anniversary on 15
March 2015. The formation day parade was held on 15 March 2015 at the
base parade square. Pirith chanting and religious activities were
carried out in the squadron. Lunch was served to the family
members of the Squadron personnel at the Base
playground.
In view of commemorating this occasion, a successful blood donation campaign was held at SLAF Base hospital, Anuradhapura on 6 March 2015 with the participation of 142 blood donors. Religious activities were carried out at Jaya Sri Maha Bodhiya and a Dansala was organised at the Ruwan Weli Maha Seya on 14 March 2015 for approximately 250 people.
