Mrs Aloma Amarasekara Takes a Walk Down Memory Lane

Mrs Aloma Amarasekara, wife of the late AVM ER Amarasekara, visited the Sri Lanka Air Force Museum recently and took a walk down memory lane.

AVM Amarasekara, twice decorated by the Queen of England for his gallantry during the Second World War with the ‘Distinguished Flying Cross,’ was the first Sri Lankan to take control and command of the Royal Ceylon Air Force.

Mrs. Amarasekara also visited the exhibit where her husbands’ Ceremonial attire was on display and relished and shared the memories of yesteryear.
