SLAF Station Weerawila Celebrates its 37th Anniversary
SLAF Station Weerawila celebrated its 37th
anniversary on 01 June 2015 under the guidance of the Commanding Officer
Group Captain PSN Fernando.
The station personnel engaged in “Shamadana program” at the Sithulpauwa Raja Maha Viharaya on 29 May 2015 and at Sri Abinawarama Temple at Weerawila on 30 May 2015 leading up to the day proper.
The Anniversary day celebrations began with a parade which was reviewed by the Commanding Officer which was followed by a spirited Elle tournament that saw the all members of the station participating in true camaraderie, followed by an all ranks lunch.
