
Annual Commander’s Inspection of SLAF Station Sigiriya

The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal
Kolitha Gunatilleke, conducted the Annual Commander’s Inspection of SLAF
Station Sigiriya on 05 June 2015. The Commander upon the arrival for
the inspection was received by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station
Sigiriya Wing Commander LHN Jayatilake and was accorded a street lining
which was commanded by Flight Lieutenant NP Nonis.
On conclusion of the inspection the Commander addressed the Officers, Airmen, Airwomen and the Civilian staff of the Station. During the address he highlighted the importance of the development carried out in the Station and described the value of implementing more new projects. He further emphasized that all members of the SLAF should maintain the highest standards both inside and outside the SLAF. He also stated that the SLAF reputation which has been built up through the generations should be maintained and that the high level of discipline should continue.
