The SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit organized a series of conferences for ladies and servicewomen Chaired by the Chairperson at Academy/Bases/ Stations level, with the intention of  discuss the matters relating to Seva Vanitha. The initial conference was held at SLAF Base Ratmalana on 10 July 15 with the participation of ladies and servicewomen at the Base premises.

 The second conference on the programme was held at the SLAF Base Katunayake on 22 July 15.  The meeting was chaired by the Chairperson SLAF SVU Mrs. Samanthi Bulathsinghala, who welcomed the gathering and spoke on the aspirations of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit.  Further, members were invited to speak on issues and problems related to Seva Vanitha matters.   After the conference, the Chairperson exchanged pleasantries with the participants.
