8th ‘Guwan Lak Sevana’ House Handed Over
A new house constructed under the "Guwan Lak Sevana” Housing Project launched by the Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit was handed over to 19207 F/Sgt Wijaya Kumara WMC today (21 September 2015) at Halmilla Wewa,Bingiriya. The house opening ceremony was held under the patronage of Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Samanthi Bulathsinghala.
Construction of this house was funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and carried out by SLAF Base Katunayaka under the supervision of the Directorate of Civil Engineering.
Director Welfare Air Vice Marshal MLK Perera, Base Commander SLAF Base Katunayaka Air Commodore SK Pathirana, Officers and other ranks were also present at the ceremony.
