A community project organized by SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was conducted at Vanni on 30 September 2015 with a view to assist children of underprivileged schools in the vicinity of RTS SLAF Vanni.

 This was organized under the patronage of the Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs.Samanthi Bulathsinghala on a request made by the Commanding Officer SLAF Vanni.

Three needy schools were identified and arrangements were made to provide school bags, Shoes, stationary items and school uniforms for 28 students of ‘Navajothi Vidyalaya’, ‘V/ Sri Krishna Vidyalaya’  and ‘V/ Kovil Moddai’  Schools. Various well- wishrs were the benefactors of these items.

Several members of SLAF SVU, Office bearers of SVU, Commanding Officer, RTS SLAF Vanni Wg Cdr Rukman Dassanayake and the Officers of RTS SLAF Vanni participated in the function.
