Bangladesh Armed Forces War Course (AFWC) Visit AFHQ
A 46-member delegation of the Bangladesh Armed Forces War Course (AFWC) - 2015 comprising senior Officers of Tri-Services from Bangladesh who are currently on their Overseas Study Tour to Sri Lanka, paid a visit to the Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters today (06 October 2015).
The delegation was headed by Brigadier General Md Mesbah Ul Alam Chowdhury. On their arrival to AFHQ, they were received by Air Vice Marshal Vijitha Gunaratne, the Director Training of the Air Force.
A presentation was conducted by Group Captain Lasitha Sumanaweera, the Senior Staff Officer Air Operations on ‘Post conflict role and challenges’ of the Sri Lanka Air Force. Subsequently, an interactive Q&A session was held with the participation of Members from the AF board of Management.
On conclusion of the presentation, symbolic mementos were exchanged among the delegation and the Air Force to mark the event.
