The Commissioning of the Air Force Sports Arena at SLAF Base Katunayake was held under the patronage of Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala this morning (22 October 2015).

The arena provides all facilities for the sporting personnel in Wrestling, Judo, Karate and Taekwondo   in Particular.

The project was carried out by Civil Engineering Wing at SLAF Base Katunayake under the supervision of Directorate of Civil Engineering.

Members of the Air Force Board of Management, Base Commander of the SLAF Base Katunayake Air Commodore SK Pathirana, Senior Officers, Officers and other ranks were also present at the event.
