Community Development Project at Mullaitivu
A community development project organized by
SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was
conducted at Mullaitivu on 29th October 2015 with a view to assist the
children of underprivileged schools and distribute reading glasses for
civilians in the vicinity of SLAF Station
Mullaitivu.
Needy schools were identified and arrangements were made to provide school bags and stationary items for 50 students around the area. In addition, 190 pairs reading glasses were distributed among the civilians who needed.
Several members of SLAF SVU, Office bearers of SVU, Commanding Officer SLAF Station Mullaitivu Wg.Cdr Anaka Mayurawasala and the Officers of SLAF Station Mullaitivu participated at the function.
This was organized under the
patronage of the Chairperson of SLAF
Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs.Samanthi Bulathsinghale on a request made by the
Commanding Officer SLAF Station Mullaitivu.
