Annual AOC's Inspection of SLAF Combat Training School Vanni
The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala, conducted the AOCs Inspection at SLAF Combat Training School Vanni this afternoon (29 September 2015).
The Commander, upon arrival for the inspection, was received by the Commanding Officer Wing Commander Rukman Dassanayaka and accorded a guard of honour.
During the course of the inspection the Commander visited all areas and declared open the newly constructed squash court at the CTS. Certificates of Commendations were awarded to 17463 F/ Sgt Chaminda Kumara EP (Supply) and 18072 F/Sgt Chaminda SR ( Ops Grd I) by the Commander for their meritorious contributions to the School in particular and to the Air Force in general.
On conclusion of the inspection, the Commander addressed the Officers, Airmen and Civilians of the Combat Training School while praising the commendable job they had done and he encouraged them to set and reach even higher goals.
