SLAF Station Palavi Celebrates its 8th Formation Day
SLAF Station Palavi celebrated its 8th formation day under the guidance of Commanding Officer Wing Commander Nishantha Priyadarshana together with all officers, other ranks and the civilian staff on 1st November 2015.
Coinciding with the formation day, a multi religious ceremony was also held in order to invoke blessings for the Commander of the Air Force, SLAF Station Palavi, those who laid down their lives for the motherland, those wounded in action, all serving personnel of SLAF and for the betterment and future endeavours of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
The Formation Day Working Parade was held at the Station premises and the parade was inspected by Acting Commanding Officer SLAF Station Palavi Squadron Leader PGB Madagewatta. Apart from this, celebrations continued with a cricket match with the participation of all station personnel .
