Sri Lanka Air Force Fire Fighters carried out a Fire Evacuation drill at Development Holdings Private Limited Colombo this evening (06th November 2015). During the demonstration the SLAF firemen demonstrated several rescue tactics such as Aerial rope rescue and also operating and using of ‘Jumping Sheet’ which was placed on the ground.

31 SLAF personnel participated in the Fire Evacuation Drill and Squadron Leader Hettiarachchi guided the SLAF fire fighters to perform the evacuation drill smoothly.

The Chief Fire Officer of the SLAF Group Captain Chinthaka Dias was also present at the demonstration.
