First Ever Set of SLAF Personnel of UNPK HELI-DEPLOYMENT (MINUSCA) Return to Sri Lanka

The First Contingent of SLAF Personnel, numbering 121 personnel who formed the Force Aviation Unit under the United Nations helicopter deployment in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) arrived in Sri Lanka earlier today (10 Nov 15),on completion of a 14 month tenure. They were replaced by a fresh contingent who left the shores of Sri Lanka a few days previously. 

Senior officers of the Air Force and the family members of the Arriving personnel were present at the Arrival lounge.

Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
