Visiting United States Ambassador to the United Nations. Samantha Power took flight to Palaly this morning, to commence her tour of the Northern Province.

The Ambassador boarded a Sri Lanka Air Force Mi171 Helicopter at MOD Grounds, Colombo.

The Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Engineer Karunasena Hettiarachchi and the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal GP Bulathsinghala were present to see her off.
