Commander's Annual Inspection at SLAF Station Colombo

On conclusion of the inspection at Air Force Headquarters yesterday (26 November 2015),the Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala started the  Annual Commander’s Inspection at SLAF Station Colombo today (27 November 2015).

The Commander was welcomed by the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Colombo, Air Commodore Prasanna Payoe.  A Street Line was accorded to the Commander at Station premises. Commander visited all the areas of the station and after  concluding the inspection took a seat at the Airmen mess with a cross section of Officers, Airmen, Airwomen and Civilian staff for the customary all ranks lunch. This was followed by the Commander's address in which he admired the commendable work of personnel at AFHQ and Station Cbo in maintaining the high standards.  He emphasized the importance of English and Information technology proficiency and  his vision for the future of the Sri Lanka Air Force. During the speech the Commander explain why such annual inspection system has be implemented, its importance for the gathering.

After concluding the inspection and speech at the station the commander departed to the Health Management Center Thummulla and then AFHQ Officers Mess Thummulla.
