Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Visits Air Force Headquarters
The Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Eng. Karunasena Hettiarachchi visited the Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters today morning (3 December 2015).
Upon arrival at the SLAF Headquarters Engineer Hettiarachchi was received by the Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala. The Secretary was also accorded guard of Honour by the Colour Wing of the SLAF.
The Secretary was briefed regarding the advancement and the expansion of the Information Technology systems within the SLAF by Chief Information Technology Officer Group Captain Arosh Vithana.
During the occasion, Secretary Hettiarachchi also met the board of management and the senior officers of SLAF.
The SLAF Commander presented a memento to the Secretary. The Secretary also placed his signature on the Visitors' Book to mark his visit to Headquarters.
