Community Project for Underprivileged School Children at Iranamadu
A community project organized by SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was conducted at Iranamadu on 02 December 2015 with a view to assist children of underprivileged schools in the vicinity of SLAF Station Iranamadu.
This was organized under the patronage of the Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit on a request made by the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Iranamadu.
Three needy schools were identified and arrangements were made to provide Shoes, School Bags and stationary items for 104 students of ‘Kiyanshaya’ Pre School, ‘Kiyalweli’ Pre School and Wattakachchi School. In addition, newly constructed building for Kiyaweli Pre School also was handed over to the children during this occasion.
Mrs. Samanthi Bulathsinghala, Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and several members of SLAF SVU, Office bearers of SVU, Commanding Officer, SLAF Station Iranamadu Wg.Cdr Manoj Galappatthi and the Officers of SLAF Station Iranamadu participated in the function.
