SLAF Awarded National Productivity Award 2014
Sri Lanka Air Force received the National
Productivity award 2014 for the Public Sector - Departments category at
the National Productivity Awards ceremony held at the BMICH today (15
Dec 15).
The ‘National Productivity Awards 2014’ was organized by the National Productivity Secretariat (NPS) which is under the Ministry of Public Administration and Management.
AFHQ, SLAF CTS DLA, No 4 Sqn and AEW were presented for the productivity assessment to cover the areas of Operational, Engineering, Training, research and Development and Welfare. The SLAF participated in this competition as one entity by achieving the same level of improvement in implementation of productivity concepts in all areas.
The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala accepted the award from the Hon. Prime Minister. Members of the AFBM were also present at the awards ceremony.
